Which Maserati vehicles made their debut at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed?

Maserati Ghibli 334 Ultima at Goodwood Festival of Speed

At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is an annual celebration of both motorsports and automotive culture, Maserati was celebrating the legacy of its V8 engines as the brand will soon be putting them out to pasture. This celebration came in the form of two brand-new vehicles making their global debut at the event. The two vehicles in question are the Ghibli 334 Ultima and the Levante V8 Ultima. While these two new models might have been the most exciting things the brand brought to the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, they weren’t the only two, so we’ll dive into everything else as well.

Ghibli 334 Ultima & Levante V8 Ultima

These two vehicles will both be powered by the brand’s 572-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine as production on the iconic powertrain will soon be ending. Not only are these vehicles exciting for the brand, but the Ghibli 334 Ultima is exciting for the entire industry as it is now the fastest gas-only sedan in the world. The 334 in its name represents its speed in kilometers per hour, which translates to 207.5 miles per hour.

2024 Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo

The new 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo was also present at the event, even taking part in the legendary Goodwood Hillclimb event alongside the Ghibli 334 Ultima. This vehicle not only features a 542-horsepower V6 Nettuno engine beneath its hood, but one that features the ingenious pre-chamber combustion system and twin spark plugs inspired by Formula 1 racing.

2024 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore

As the brand’s first-ever all-electric vehicle, you knew the incredible 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Folgore was likely to make an appearance at the event. It did indeed, showcasing everything from its outstanding 800-volt battery tech that offers 280 miles of range on a single charge to its mind-blowing trio of permanent magnet motors that deliver a total net of more than 1,200 horsepower.

Additional Models

In addition to these incredible vehicles there were a few other models brought to the event by Maserati, starting with the phenomenal Maserati GranTurismo One-Off Prisma. This incredible one-of-a-kind vehicle features a magnificent exterior of 14 different colors that pop when exposed to light. The second all-electric model that the brand is producing, the Grecale Folgore, was also on display, as was the show-stopping MC20 Cielo.
