The Family Fun Center in Tukwila is the perfect way to burn off some energy, whether the weather is good for outdoor activities or not. This amusement park has both inside and outside activities appropriate for all ages. Get competitive with a friendly game of laser tag, or win some tickets in the arcade. Wings over Washington

Wings over Washington is an educational “flying theater” that is currently the most state-of-the-art advanced. The theater utilizes MUSHROOM VR, art laser projection, and heart-pounding surround sound. The theater moves with the video to give a fully immersive experience. Footage for the film was taken using 5k cameras and drones to provide a crystal clear, stunning experience. The film sweeps guests out over the sights of Washington for a unique look at this beautiful state.

This attraction is also located at Pier 57. The movie lasts about 15-18 minutes and the wait time averages at 30 minutes during peak hours. Tickets for ages 12 and up are $17.

Wild Waves Theme Park

Just outside Seattle in Federal Way, Wild Waves Theme Park is the ultimate way to enjoy Seattle’s summer weather. Check out the intense water slides or relax on the lazy river in the water park section, or head on over to the theme park and hop on any of the roller coasters to experience a thrill. There are attractions in both sections appropriate for kids as well as teens, making this a sure crowd pleaser for the whole family.

You can choose between purchasing a season pass or single day tickets, depending on how many times you plan on visiting the park. There are plenty of food options in both parks. The park is open from May through December, and there are multiple special events that take place during the open season.

These four amusement parks and rides are great ways to spend an afternoon with friends and family.
