Exterior Styling

The 2018 Ghibli’s elegant + curvaceous aerodynamic lines impress.

Its aggressive and sporty stance beckons a thrilling one of a kind driving experience that only Maserati can deliver. With a Ferrari built engine, the Maserati Ghibli brings classic Italian supercar performance and packages it into an attainable luxury sedan.

2018 introduces several all-new exterior features + benefits. They include

  • Front and rear fascias that have been completely redesigned in order to improve aerodynamics
  • A 7% improved aerodynamic efficiency
  • Re-imagined grill
  • Adaptive full LED headlights with glare-free Matrix high-beams.

Two New Trims

There are two new 2018 Maserati Ghibli trim options available to you. These further enhance the luxury + sportiness of the model. The first new trim, the GranLusso, boasts pluses like Ermenegildo Zega silk upholstery and an enhanced exterior finish. The GranLusso has been designed to be the definition of luxury.

The GranSport, on the other hand, underscores Maserati’s racing heritage. GranSport is a sports car through and through, as exemplified by its much sportier exterior design.

S models are equipped with a 3.0-liter twin turbo V-6 that produces 345-horsepower with 369 ft-lb of torque. GranLusso and GranSport come with a performance-tuned twin turbo V-6 that produces 424-horsepower and 428 ft-lb torque. The Maserati Ghibli GranSport has a recorded top speed of 178 mph and accelerates from 0-62 in just 4.9 seconds.

Innovative Technology

One of the most innovative changes to the new Ghibli is the adoption of an Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC). The new Maserati IVC will help increase stability and driver control. There’s also Electric Power Steering system (EPS) which works with the new Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) to increase handling and comfort without sacrificing Maserati’s classic razor-sharp steering.

The new Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) retains all existing features while introducing active functions like

  • Highway Assist (HA)
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
  • Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA)
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
