Rairdon Maserati of Kirkland LOVES Giving Back

When you have 1200 back-to-school backpacks at your doorstep, the big question becomes “where are they going to next?”

So Why all the Backpacks?

This past summer, we got to thinking about the stress that back-to-school time can bring; how it can even cause some families to face a financial hardship…

so we came up with an idea.  💡 💡 💡

Our first step in helping to lighten the cost of back-to-school for our local families looked like this:  

Then, with the backpacks unpacked, we began reaching

for pre-packaged bags of all the school supplies

a kid would need.

Backpacks stuffed full of supplies, we headed over to Hopelink in Kirkland.

Why Hopelink?

Hopelink had us at hello. 

A local charity, Hopelink provides our local Seattle area with food assistance,

financial services, housing, adult education, transportation, family development,

employment services, and more.

They really are superheroes for local families living below the poverty line.

As such, it was with more than just a little bit of pride that the Rairdon team handed off

the backpacks and supplies to Hopelink as a donation. 

With everyone’s help—especially our great customers + dealerships—

our local students and families living below the poverty line became

better equipped to have a great school year.
