First Looks at 2024 Maserati GranTurismo
Maserati recently announced a reboot for the iconic GranTurismo line for 2024. With a completely redesigned interior and new exterior, the GranTurismo is racing into the future. Keep reading to learn about what we know so far about this yet-to-be-released Maserati at Rairdon’s of Kirkland.
Redesigned From the Inside Out
The 2024 GranTurismo is a look into the electric future for Maserati, but the standard Nettuno V6 engine isn’t in the past just yet. However, it does include an equally impressive electric powertrain option. Not much has been said yet about the electric version, although Maserati plans to release an all-electric lineup by 2023. Going back to the internal combustion engine, the GranTurismo’s twin turbo achieves an output of up to 550 horsepower and 0-60 in only 3.5 seconds on the Trofeo and 490 horsepower in the Modena. Its speed tops out just over 200 MPH, which is possible due to the smaller engine and redesigned body. A few more differences set apart the two ICE models, like a different push-button start and varying seat patterns.
Speaking of the body, the new exterior made waves upon first release – and for good reason. It’s a whole new look for the GranTurismo, but we’re already loving the redesign. It includes carbon fiber accents, giving it a lightweight look while reducing weight for even more speed and agility. Even though it looks significantly different than previous models, what really stands out is the interior. The 2024 GranTurismo departs from the two-seater coupe into a four-seat model, reportedly with more than enough room to comfortably seat adults in front and back. A new steering wheel, additional screens, and center console add convenience around the cabin, while the absence of a shifter lever is replaced with paddle shifters make way for more passenger room. Some things haven’t changed, though; the instrument panel remains familiar and the leather seats bring well-known Maserati luxury to the newest models.
