2022 Neiman Marcus Barbie Maserati Grecale Trofeo Unique Design
In just a couple of months, the absolutely stacked cast of the new Barbie movie will grace silver screens across the globe. With that exciting film on the horizon, we wanted to look in the rear view mirror to highlight a truly awesome, unique vehicle that you might not have heard about or seen. A true one-of-a-kind, Maserati collaborated with Neiman Marcus last year to produce a Barbie-themed Grecale Trofeo with a truly unique design. This one-off Maserati Grecale Trofeo is something truly special, so we thought we’d take a look back at the model and highlight what makes it so unique.

What is Neiman Marcus?
Neiman Marcus is a high-end luxury retailer based out of Dallas. What the organization is perhaps best known for is its annual holiday catalog, in which a host of incredibly unique, often exclusive, always extravagant and enormously priced fantasy gifts are listed and sold ahead of the holidays. To give you some examples of gifts sold through the Neiman Marcus Holiday Catalog, last year’s issue included a $3.2 million diamond tiara crafted by Cartier, an afternoon of basketball with Scotty Pippen and his son and a luxury weekend spent in Napa Valley. There’s almost always at least one incredibly rare, perhaps even – as it is in this case – one-of-a-kind automobile.
Barbie Maserati Design
The Barbie Maserati Grecale Trofeo, which you can see in the pictures on this page, was available for $330,000. Ten percent of this price tag was donated to the Barbie Dream Gap Project, which is an incredibly great cause. This unique version of the vehicle, designed by the brand’s Fuoriserie customization program, delivers 530 horsepower from its V6 Nettuno engine, a fact you might not expect from looking at its shell.
The unique design of this exclusive vehicle is undeniable Barbie. The exterior paint is in her signature pink color, accented by acid-yellow lines more closely associated with Maserati. The Barbie logo is, of course, found on the exterior, but the more unique design cue found on the vehicle’s exterior is its iridescent topcoat that, when exposed to direct sunlight, will produce a rainbow effect on the pink paint. Moving inside the vehicle you’ll find black upholstery and leather surfaces accented by pink stitching and Barbie “B” embroidery on the headrests.
This one-of-a-kind vehicle is absolutely stunning, but it won’t be one of a kind for long. When Maserati unveiled the vehicle, they said that a second custom unit would be unveiled sometime in 2023. We suspect this model will be more closely associated with the upcoming film, but we cannot wait to find out more here at Rairdon’s Maserati of Kirkland!
